Rain POV
Another month has passed since I woke up from my coma that means there is only 3 months left till I have to decide. Although deep down i'm sure I already have, today is special for me. Today I am going to meet Blazes wolf his name was .... ah I can't remember, i'm such a bad girlfriend how could I forget the other half of my boyfriend.
"Rain Are you ready ?"
"Yes sorry Blaze, this is really bad but can you remind me of your wolfs name"
"Oh yeah its Lex he's really excited to meet you as well" Blaze smiles at me and kisses my hand. He starts to walk us out towards the forest, I love it our here is beautiful and so different from the hospital rooms I have live in for so long. We stop in a little clearing full of flowers, they were breathtaking, petals danced through the air from the trees.
"This is my secret spot my mum would bring me here and tell me about how I should bring my mate one day" I look to blaze, this is the first time he has mentioned his mum. In fact he has never really talked about them and I did not think to ask.
"Where are your parents if you don't mind me asking?" I ask sheepishly.
"They are not around anymore, I will tell you about them and what happened but not now this is time for you to get to know Lex. You won't be able to understand him but he will understand you, if you decide to become a wolf then you will be able to hear him as well" Blaze looks at me hopefully I cont bring myself to tell him my decision yet I want to give myself as much time as I can to get all the facts first.
"Well we will see, can I meet Lex now please ?" He chuckles and steps back he starts getting undressed.
"AHH" I cover my eyes and feel like i'm blushing big time.
"You don't like me?" Blaze questions me, he knows thats not it but wants to torture me. I shake my head I can't bring myself to look, he grabs my hands and pulls them away from my eyes.
"Look at me, all of me is yours and only yours, don't shy away" he kisses me passionatly and I can't help but respond to his kisses.
"Now my innocent little mate are you ready to meet the big bad wolf" he chuckles again. I pout at him and blush. suddenly he starts to shift and fur sports from his skin, his feet and hands turn into paws, his mouth becomes a snout. It's not the prettiest sight but I don't look away.
"Blaze are you alright?" I get no response, then I realise its no longer Blaze
"Lex is that you?" He suddenly looks up at me, wow he is big compared to normal wolfs and his eyes are so beautiful just like Blazes eyes. He moves over to me and nuzzles my hand, I start to pet him and he looks so happy with that, kind of like a pet dog. I giggle at that, Lex looks at me and tilts his head in confusion, he is so cute like that. He lays down beside me and moves his head to look at his back.
"Do you want me to climb on your back?" Lex nods his head at me, I climb onto his back and hold onto his fur, I hope I don't pull any out. He stands up and starts to run off into the forest at first i'm holding on for dear life but after a while I starts to open my eyes and enjoy it. I start to feel free, free of worry about my life and the people I will miss free of feeling unwell, I feel complete and blissful. This is what I imagine flying feels like, when I was in hospital I would always dream of flying away from all my problems. I don't know how long we were out but when we get back to the clearing the sun is starting to set, I get off of Lex's back and step away.
"Thank you Lex that was the most amazing experience I loved it truly" I kiss his head, he turns around and shifts back into Blaze who gets dressed.
"Lex wants to tell you that he loved it too, but not as much as he loves you" Blaze smiles at me, I smile back at him and nod my head. We head back to the pack house and my stomach starts to growl.
"I guess someone is hungry" Blaze laughs at me.
"Shut .... ahhhh !!!!" suddenly I get the most intense pain in my head, I double over and hold my head.
"YOUR ARE BORN OF THE CURSED BLOOD !!!!
WE CURSED YOUR LINE TO ITS END !!!!
YOU CAN NOT HIDE FROM US !!!!"
The voices start to shout in my head again.
Blaze grabs me and cradles me.
"Rain ... hey don't do this to me again ... please hang on" I feel him pick me up and start to run towards my room. I don't want this to happen again, but I can't fight it, my eyes start to close and I feel so tired.
"No Rain don't close your eyes ..... stay ...... me ..... love...." Then all I see is darkness.
