Chapter 11

Rain POV

"How do you not know that yet? has Blaze not told you how the pack works?" Anna looked at me completely baffled.

"I guess with everything going on he forgot, also we haven't had much time to actually talk about all this stuff" I was a little worried I had got Blaze in trouble.

"It's okay, you guys had more important things to talk about, we can explain how the pack works now, tell us what you do know about the pack?" Rachel asked me.

"Well what I know is that this pack has about 500 member and not all of them are wolfs, Blaze is the Alpha and thats the leader, I know that Zack is the Beta although I'm not sure what that is you are sacks mate" I said pointing to Anna "I also now know that Joseph is Gamma but again I don't know what that is, and that you are his mate" I said pointing at Rachel "Thats about all I know about the pack, oh wait I know about Dr.Sims as well"

"I see so he told you the information but just neglected to tell you what any of it means, I swear thats such a male thing to do assuming you understand how it all works" Rachel said and chuckled.

"Okay let me explain further for you" I look at Anna " You know Blaze is Alpha the top dog, Zack is the next in command he is Blazes right hand and ranks second in the pack, thats what a Beta is. Joseph ranks third and is below both Blaze and Zack thats a gamma, basically all three work together to manage the pack and the businesses" Okay that seems easy enough to understand. "Of course the three of them don't do this alone, we as their mates assist them in any way we can, so I am the Beta female and Rachel is the Gamma female and the female Alpha is called a Luna and that is you" So I'm The female Alpha .... 

"Wait I can't be the Luna of a wolf pack I'm not even a wolf, I'm a human" I expresses to them, I hope they understand where I'm coming from.

"Don't worry Rain, I though the same about being the Gamma female, but all the members of this pack don't care what race we are they only care that we care about them, thats all" Rachel try's to comfort me, no doubt knowing what I was thinking.

"Listen, don't worry about it for now, you won't have to do anything until you are 100% healthy again, so put it at the back of your mind we will deal with one problem at a time" Anna says to me. She is right at this moment in time my health and the choice I have to make are more important.

"Okay, let's deal with me being a luna after the 7 month period" They both nod at me. We decided to not talk about the heavy stuff anymore we did a game of Q&A this was so we could learn more about each other and it was nice to have girl time with them and I can see us all becoming great friends. Around Lunch time there was knock on the door, Rachel got up to answer it and as she opens the door all our mates burst in and grab each of us into a hug.

"Wow guys it's only been a few hours, clam down" we all laugh at Rachels comment.

"It's been to long, I am taking back my mate so we can go out and have nice lunch, you guys can do what you like, just don't disturb us" Blaze stated and with that picked me up and walked out the room.

I look up at him as he is carrying me down the hall "You don't have to carry me, you know I can walk" He looks down at me and smiles.

"If I did not carry you someone might steal you again" I chuckle at this.

"Fine but where are we going?" I ask as we pass the kitchen and out the back door to the garden.

"I though you might like a picnic outside in the forest so got it set up for us" OMG I would love that I have wanted to go out in the forest since arriving here.

"I guess by the look on your face That I was right" I suddenly realise that I'm smiling like an i***t, I feel my cheeks heat up and probably go red. I just hear him lightly chuckle and carry on into the forest. He told me to close my eyes which I did. I feel him put me back on my feet and lead me a bit further.

"Okay you can open your eyes now" I open my eyes to the most beautiful sight. Their in-front of me is the lake I saw when we drove here from the hospital, it was glistening as the sun rays danced on the surface of the water. The water was crystal clear and seemed to never end, I loved it. Blaze directs my attention to a blanket laid out on the floor and gestured for me to sit down. I sit and he brings over basket with and assortment of foods, all the normal picnic type stuff such as sandwiches, crisps, salad bits etc. I look at blaze and smile.

"I love it, I can't express to you how much I love this" I really couldn't it was, to put it simply my perfect idea of a date. He leans in towards me and places a gentle kiss on my lips, that kiss felt like it lasted forever and it was the best kiss I had so far. This day was turning out to be one of the happiest days of my life, I just don't want it to end yet, I honestly can say I love this man.
