Chapter 15

Rain POV

"Is this better" Blaze asks me as he points to his newly shaved and trimmed beard.

"Yes that is so much better" I say with a giggle.

"Good enough for a kiss now ?" he looks at me a smirks. Oh he is asking for it, now I have to tease him.

"Well ..." I walk over to him and start inspecting his face "I suppose it's not as bad but ..." I watch him fighting the urge to just kiss me himself "what do I get for this kiss ?" Im just playing with him I would kiss him all the time if I could.

"You would get my undying love a devotion" he said as he tilts my head up to face him.

"You must value my kisses very highly then" Is it bad that this is turning me on a little, am I being a flirt now, I did not know I could flirt.

"Its not just you kisses I value its your existence, it means more than my own" wow this just went from me playing with him to him embarrassing me, I try to hide my face but he stops me and looks straight into my eyes.

"Never hide you face from me, I love all of you including your embarrassment" He emails at me as he said this. With this I have a sudden boost of confidence I quickly press my lips to his and kiss him he stills and looks shocked. I have never instigated a kiss before so I don't know what to do, Blaze quickly snaps out of his shock and kisses me back taking the lead. He pulls away and Im grateful as I needed to take a breath, I may have forgot to breath.

"That was amazing love" he said to me as he holds my face and looks at me with pure love.

"That is a sight I'd rather not see again thanks" we both jump at the voice that came out of nowhere. We both look over at the door where Dr.Hoop stands with Dr.Sims, Dr.Sims slaps his shoulder.

"You should't have interrupted them, and you have no room to talk you kiss me all the time at any chance you get" Dr.Sims scolds Dr.Hoop.

"It's not the same Rain is like a daughter to me I don't want to see a man kissing her" he wines back at her.

"We are sorry to interrupt you guys but I was told about what you heard before you fainted and I wanted to talk to you about it" Dr.Sims tells me.

"Okay but I have some more things to tell both of you as well would you like to come and sit and I can tell you about it" I walk over to the small living area at sit on the sofa Blaze sits next to me, while both the doctors sit opposite us.

"Before we start I'd just like to ask you both from this point on to call us by our first names, I'm not bothered by the normal professionalism you get in hospitals and your Lucas's family so you are mine as well now" Dr.Sims, no sorry Eve tells me. "The same for you alpha as these two are family and hopefully you will be Rain's as well that sort of makes us family" Blaze nods to her and agrees. It makes me so happy to think I have gained more friends and family and its only been 2 months and I was in coma for 1 month of that. I guess you know when you find the right people and I must trust easily, it makes sense I have been alone most of my life i'm craving to have family and friends.

"So what more did you want to tell us rain ?" Lucas asks me. I got on to explain about the meeting I had with selene and what she said to me.

"Well this is puzzling, Eve you would understand this better than me what do you make of it ?" we all look to her.

"Why would you know more ?" I ask her.

"Im sorry we never explained what type of witch and warlock we are" does it have to do with that then. I must of had a confused look on my face.

"Not all witches and warlocks are the same, we have different magic affinity's. So to put it simply a witch/warlock is born with 1 magic affinity out of a possible 6 types. The types are Water,Earth,Fire, Air, Dark and Light as we get older we develop another affinity so a powerful witch/warlock has 2 and in extremely rare cases 3 affinities. These affinity's determine the type of magic we can use and learn about, is this making sense to you ?" she looks as me to see if I'm following her.

"Yeah I think so, do you and Lucas have different affinity's then ?" I look at her.

"Yes Lucas uses Water and Light Magic they are both perfect for healing and self-defence. I on the other hand have Earth and Dark Magic Which means I am suited to poisons and curses as well as healing and self-defence. We can use the basic spells that don't have an affinity but they are not very powerful." she look at me again to see my reaction.

"Wait curses, so do you know about this cursed blood thing that was mentioned" she looks down.

"I don't know right now, I will have to do some reaserch but I feel like with what the moon goddess told you I have a better understanding. Until I know more I will withhold anything for now." Really, I just want to know whats going on and why me, I look down.

Blaze see this and turns to me "Love don't worry Eve is going to look into it, there is nothing more we can do now."

Eve stands up and turns to Lucas "looks like we have many books to read we best get started" she smiles at him and turns to me "I will tell you as soon as I know more"

"Thank you so much for doing this" I stand up and so does Blaze, I walk over to Eve and put my arms out. "would it be okay if I hugged you ?" she looked shocked.

"Of course you don't have to ask me" she immediately pulls me into a hug. We release each other from the hug.

"Now we recommend that you get out and enjoy yourself with Blaze and your other friends, we think being happy and learning about this world is what you need right now" Eve tells me and Lucas nods in agreement. With that she waves goodbye and leaves with Lucas. I look at Blaze.

"Well you heard her, I do believe there are two girls who are desperate to see you" Blaze smiles at me and kisses me. I just have to wait and focus on my decision about being turned or not for now. s**t there is only 5 months left till I have to make my decision.
