Chapter Twenty-Three: Storm

So far I was the only one to pull out a gun and shoot someone. That girl shouldn’t have jumped on Crisa the way she did. I quickly put the gun away and pulled out one of my knives since it would be easier to use. I noticed as I was fighting that we were cutting through the group that attacked, but the leader disappeared. The rest of the MC joined the fight meaning the outside was cleared of all threats. I had been fighting off my share of attackers and hadn’t been able to keep track of Crisa like I wanted to, but I knew she was still near me. I had just finished off the guy I was fighting and turned to check on Crisa. I saw a guy grab her from behind and I tried to get to her, but I was unable to as I was tackled from behind. 

  I quickly rolled on top of my attacker and threw punch after punch at his face. I would have continued if someone hadn’t come up behind me and tried to pistol whip me. I quickly turned and caught their wrist only to realize that it was a female. She looked scared like this was the first time she had been in a situation like this. I hesitated for a moment before one of the clubs old ladies came and grabbed her and took care of her. I took another knife out and quickly finished the guy I had been punching so I could get to Crisa.

  This time when I found her she was sitting on the guy that had come up behind her and was running her knife across his throat with a sinister smile on her face. As I watched her she leaned down to his ear as of to say something to him and I had to wonder who he was. As I made my way to her I took out everyone in my path. I had this feeling that something was going to happen and I needed to get next to her.

    When I reached her she gave me a quick nod and smile before we ended up being surrounded. With the amount of people we had and how quickly we were taking out the enemy they shouldn’t have been able to surround us like this. Crisa and I got ready to defend ourselves by each pulling out a knife. We were too close to be able to effectively use a gun without potentially hurting a friend. As we were about to attack the leader came walking up to us like he didn’t have a care in the world. He looked at her and said, “today is the day that you die for everything that you have done to me.”

 I was furious and I wanted to rip him apart until he was unrecognizable. Crisa was as calm as she could be as she looked at him and calmly responded with, “you can try to kill me, but your track record with that is always failure. You will be the one to die today.” This girl was amazing and it was that moment that I realized that I loved her. I already knew that I had strong feelings for her that I couldn’t under because I never felt them before, but in this moment I knew that it was love for her.
