Chapter Thirteen: Crisa Rose

594 Words
It has been two months since I was shot and I haven’t gone back to work yet, but I’ve been training in the gym for the last two weeks. The deal with Storm’s MC went through and was going well. The shelters would officially be open in a couple of weeks. Thane was surprised when he found out about the shelters, but he was supportive of the idea and we were going to hold a grand opening fundraiser at all of our bars. If everything went well with the first two I wanted to set more up across the country. Thane ended up firing Lena the nurse the night I came home from the hospital and had one of the waitresses from the bar come over to sit with me while I was recovering.       Storm hasn’t been by to visit me since I came home from the hospital and I missed him even if I didn’t really know him. I took all my frustrations out on the punching bag in front of me. It sure felt good to be back in the gym training again. After an hour in the gym I decided to go to the office to visit Thane and talk him into going to a local bar hosting a fight night. It wasn’t hard to convince him to go because he knew that if I wanted to do something I was going to do it with or without him. Thane managed to convince Thalia, Chris, and Tyler to go as well and they should be here in a few minutes. Thane has two conditions to going the first being that we rode together and the second being that I stayed by one of them at all times.           I decided to wear some black leggings, black combat boots, a black form fitting tank top, and threw my long curly hair into a ponytail.I was ready for anything tonight and if the possibility of getting in the ring came along I wouldn’t turn it down. I had told Thane that I would try to stay out of the ring, but I couldn’t make any promises. I was on edge and needed to release some tension and working out in the gym just wasn’t cutting it the way getting in a ring could. When they arrived to pick me up all of the boys looked ready to fight while Thalia was dressed to make others drool. Thalia was the exact opposite of Thane, but she was so good for him and I liked her. Chris decided to meet us at the bar and upon our arrival I found that Chris was now dating the girl I saved my first night in town. I’m happy to see that she recovered well and she looks happy with him, but she better not break his heart. Chris may not be my blood brother, but he is my brother all the same.        As the night went on Tyler and I were separated from the others. We were watching the ring, but when I saw Storm step in the ring I decided to go get a drink. Tyler wanted to watch the fight so with a promise of being right back I left him there. As I waited for our drinks some guy walked up behind me and slapped my ass so I turned around telling him to f**k off. I had promised Thane that I wouldn’t fight and I was going to try my hardest to keep that promise so I grab the drinks turning to walk away.
