Chapter Eighty-Four: Crisa

It has been two months since and Storm has been busy with club business, but still makes sure that I am okay and have everything I need. Stormy has been doing great in school and has formed an incredible bond with her friends. They actually come over everyday after practice and do their homework together. I haven’t heard anymore about her being bullied and I am happy about that. According to Thane her training is coming along nicely and some of her friends even join her training sessions. I have a doctors appointment today to make sure the twins are doing good. If the appointment goes well we will finally announce it and I don’t have to worry about trying to hide the weight I’m putting on. I was getting ready for the appointment when Storm came in the room. He gave me a kiss and then got down in his knees to kiss my belly before wrapping his arms around me. I looked at him and he looked so peaceful when he was doing that, but I had to interrupt him because we had to get going before we were late.
When we made it to the doctors office she pulled us right back. After a few tests and an ultrasound she informed us that everything was going well and that we should be able to find out whether we were having boys, girls, or one of each. I was so happy that they were healthy and everything was going well. On the way out to the car I text Thane about getting together for dinner and making the big announcement. He let me know that he would make sure that everyone was there. On the way home we stopped by the store for some Steaks, Potatoes, and Corn so we could barbecue. He dropped me off at home and then went into the shop to take care of some paperwork and invite Tristan and Taylor to dinner at the house. Luckily I had already accounted for Thane, Thalia, Chris, Tyler, Tristan, Taylor, and all the kids when we were shopping. Even if the kids didn’t stay for dinner tonight I would rather have too much than not enough.
I spent a couple of hours in the kitchen prepping everything for the barbecue. I had the steak marinating, the potatoes waiting to be boiled, and the corn ready to go on the grill with the steaks. When I was finished doing that I went to my office and went over the paperwork for the daycare I purchased. There was a lot of rules and regulations that we needed to get lined up before it could officially be transferred to me which should be by the end of the week. I plan on turning it into an affordable daycare center where what you pay is based off your income and housing costs. Depending on the needs and requests we may even make it a 24 hour center for the parents that work nights. No parent should ever have to choose between child care or going to work.
When four o’clock rolled around I went outside to get the grills pulled out and ready. As I finished pulling out the first one I got a fantastic surprise when my Uncle came around the corner talking to Thane. Thane saw what I was doing and said, “it’s a good thing that I picked up the kids and brought them here. You know that you aren’t supposed to be lifting or moving anything heavy. Why couldn’t you just call someone or wait for the kids to get here and have the boys move them?” My uncle looked between Thane and I clearly confused, but Thane just walked away without explanation. I walked over to my uncle and wrapped him in a hug before saying, “Zio mi sei mancato Sono così felice che tu sia qui oggi. Ho notizie importanti. (Uncle i missed you. I am so glad that you are here today. I have important news.)” He smiled at me and kissed my cheek before saying, “Anche tu mi sei mancato amore mio. Ora dimmi qual è questa importante notizia che hai per me?(I missed you too my love. Now tell me what is this important news that you have for me?)” I took his hand and laid it on my growing belly before saying, “Sono incinta! Non solo sono incinta, ma ho due gemelli. Sono così felice zio. Non solo ho Stormy che è una figlia fantastica, ora potrò darle dei fratelli. (I'm pregnant! Not only am I pregnant, but I am having twins I am so happy Uncle. Not only do I have Stormy who is an amazing daughter now I will be able to give her some siblings.) He looked down at his hand for a moment as he processed the news he showed no emotion on his face. When he looked me in the eyes he was smiling ear to ear exclaiming his congratulations and how excited he was. He wrapped his arms around me and said, “Sono così felice per te amore mio. Ti meriti un mondo pieno di felicità. Ricorda che sarò sempre qui per te e ti supporterò, qualunque cosa porti la vita. (I am so happy for you my love. You deserve a world full of happiness. Remember I will always be here for you and support you no matter what life brings.)”
