Chapter Seventy-Four: Crisa

I barely held myself together as Stormy told me about what was going on at school. When we got home I walked her down to the gym so I could show her some basic self defense. After an hour we decided to go make lunch. While I made lunch I asked her if she wanted to learn more and she was excited to learn more. Since I was pregnant I couldn’t teach her so I told her I would reach out to Chris and Tyler to teach her. After we ate I went to take a nap and tell Storm what happened while Stormy went down to her studio. As soon as I walked into my room I called Storm and told him everything about the kids bullying Stormy and the friends she had being too scared to stay by her side. She thought that she had made good friends and they just up and turned their backs on her out of fear. I started crying and Storm was trying to calm me down while I cursed the hormones which made him chuckle. He said he would fix her friend issue by introducing her to some of the MC members kids. He said he would set up a small get together tomorrow and have them all come over. With that settled he told me to take a nap and he would be home soon before hanging up the phone.
A few hours later I was woken up by Storm kissing my forehead and laying his head on my belly. I swear he is only interested in cuddling with my belly. When I woke up I said, “if you could detach my belly just cuddle it you probably would. You may have your arms around me right now, but it’s because of the babies not me.” I swear these hormones have me on a roller coaster and I woke up cranky. He looked at me and said, “I have my arms around you because I love you and want to hold you. I laid my head on your belly because I still can’t believe that you are giving me two of the greatest gifts that you can give. I still can’t believe that I have you, Stormy, and in nine months we will have two more beautiful babies.” When he finished he kissed my cheek and the water works started again.
Apparently Thane chose that moment to walk in my room without knocking. When he saw me crying he started asking Storm what he did while Storm is laughing and I’m cursing the hormones for the hundredth time. He was about to pounce on Storm before I stopped him by saying, “he didn’t do anything, but be sappy. I can’t control these f*****g hormones and he finds it funny. What are you doing here?” He looked between Storm and I trying to figure out what he had walked in on before saying, “well I wanted to apologize for this morning and see if you guys wanted to go to dinner with Thalia and I.” I looked at Storm who shrugged as if to say that it was up to me before looking to Thane as I considered what he said. I didn’t know I was hungry until my stomach decided to growl making Storm break out in a fit of laughter while I gave him a mean look. Unfazed he gave me a kiss on the forehead before leaving the room to let Stormy know about dinner.
Thane took that time to sit next to me and say, “are you sure that you are okay? He really didn’t do anything to hurt you? I rarely ever see you cry and if he made you cry I’ll make him pay.” It was really sweet and kind of funny that he said that. I really wasn’t someone who cried easily and here I was crying yet again. While Thane looked at me horrified because he didn’t know what to do so he just wrapped his arms around me. When I was able to control myself I leaned back enough to look at him before saying, “damn hormones! Technically he did do something, but he didn’t hurt me. What I’m about to tell you stays between the three of us until I decide to tell everyone else.” He looked at me with concern before slowly nodding his head in agreement. After having his confirmation I said, “I’m pregnant with twins. I found out yesterday and went to the doctor to confirm it today. Those pancakes you guys ate this morning were what I was craving and Storm wanted to make me happy. So the mood swings and crying are all due to the hormones. The weight that Tyler was teasing me about last night was because I’ve been eating more than normal because I’m eating for three now.”
