Chapter Forty-Six: Storm

She kissed me! I wasn’t expecting it and froze before eagerly kissing her back until Thalia dropped her stuff. Is it really so shocking to see two people kissing. Do these people not know how to knock or let someone know that they are coming. It’s a good thing we were only kissing. When I saw the guys come in behind her I set Crisa on the couch so she could get comfortable and start eating. The guys were upset for two seconds when they saw that Thalia had dropped the food, but when they saw the food that I laid out on the coffee table they were happy again running for it like it was meant for them.

       I was annoyed and about to say something to them. I think Crisa was even more annoyed than me because she said, “Touch any of that food and lose a limb or your life! Depends on what you touch. You may have brought breakfast with you when you came by earlier, but you also left a huge mess that Storm cleaned up. When you start functioning Thalia can you change my bandage so I can eat and watch a movie.” The guys were all giving Crisa pitiful looks probably hoping she would change her mind and share the food while I was shocked that she brought up this morning. Thalia snapped out of her shock and picked up the medical supplies before sitting next to Crisa so she could change the bandage.

       When Crisa pulled up her shirt and Thalia pulled off the bandage she let out a gasp not expecting it to be as big as it is. I had seen the bandage, but was still shocked at how big the actual wound was. Crisa was starting to get agitated with Thalia because she wasn’t doing anything besides staring so she looked at Thalia and said, “can you just finish up and put the bandage back on? You know I hate when you stare at my wounds like you haven’t seen worse. I may sound insensitive about it and I can because it’s my body.” After that Thalia got to work and finished up quickly so Crisa could eat.

    Crisa moved to grab a plate before turning to look at me waiting for me to sit down and grab a plate. I sat down and took her plate before asking what she wanted and loading it up. After giving her the plate I made one for myself and told the guys they could reheat and finish last nights pizza if they wanted. I also made sure that they knew that they were cleaning up after themselves this time. Thalia got up and went into the kitchen to heat up the pizza and grab some cleaning supplies to clean up the dropped food.

     Crisa chose to watch the movie Champion before she sat back and started eating her food. I was planning on asking her about us being together officially while we ate, but these fools had to show up and ruin it so now I needed to find another opportunity. No matter what I will be asking her today. I’m not going to go through another day without her being mine and if that kiss told me anything it’s that she wants the same thing. At least I hope that’s what she was saying with that kiss. It would kill me if she said no.
