Chapter Six: Vincent-AKA-Storm

602 Words
Today was going to be a long day. Deacon didn’t fix our shipping problem before causing trouble at the bar last week and the bike needs to be delivered today. I was able to find out more about the bar owner and found he owned multiple companies throughout the country. Today I have a business meeting with him about investing in a custom Motorcycle shop and setting up a shipping contract with his company. It wouldn’t solve today’s shipping problems, but it would benefit all of us in the long run.       I showed up early to the meeting hoping to see the girl from last week, but to my dismay she isn’t here. I brought my second in charge Tristan and the clubs Treasurer Taylor with me. Bringing them was supposed to make the meeting easier on me, but today they had an opposite affect. Twenty minutes into the meeting and we hear the door bang against the wall. We all turn in time to see the girl from last week walk into the room and this meeting just got better for me.      She offers to take the delivery today and get it dropped in time to save our asses. I’m all for it, but Tristan and Taylor put up a fight because she is a girl. They don’t think she can actually get the job done. When she offers to let one of us ride shot gun they cave and we all agree to meet in one hour. When we get back to the compound I let them know that I will be the one to go and give Tristan the authority to make all the business decisions while I’m gone. They have a few adjustments to make to the motorcycle which is strange because it was in perfect working order before I left. The adjustments take longer than they should have and they cause me to be fifteen minutes late.           When I get to the bar I see a truck here so she must be ready to go. I approach the truck, but don’t see anyone around so I decided to head inside. The radio is playing, but as I search the building I see that nobody is here. My gut tells me something is wrong, but I’m not sure what so I call Thane because I’m sure she is in danger. I have no idea how I know that or why I’m worried, but I don’t have time to figure it out right now. I need to find her and then I can figure out these feelings.       When Thane answers the phone I don’t give him a chance to speak or provide any potential excuses. I tell him that he needs to get to the bar now and we need to look at the video. I can hear two guys in the background and they all agree to be here in five minutes. Those five minutes felt like a lifetime to me and when they show up I’m all but pushing them down the hall.       When Thane finally gets the video loaded and playing my heart stops. You can see her dancing around on the video when someone walks up behind her, puts a cloth over her face, and drags her out of the building. There’s something familiar about the figure in the video, but every part of him is covered so I can’t make out who it is. I am furious and whoever took my girl will pay dearly. Did I just call her my girl? I’ll think about that later because I need to find her now.
