Chapter Fifteen: Storm

797 Words
I haven’t seen Crisa in two long months. As soon as I left I threw myself into work and trying to make sure there wouldn’t be any blow back for her or my club. Thane and I were able to strike a deal and we had been working well together. He let it slip today that Crisa would be coming back to work in a couple weeks and tonight they were going to one of the local bars for fight night. He wasn’t happy about her going, but he knew that if he didn’t agree to go she would go by herself and he didn’t want her to get hurt again. I knew that I had to be there so I called up Tristan and Taylor to let them know that we would be going out tonight. Tristan said he would contact the owner and get us on the fight roster.      I made sure that I wore something that I could move in and threw on black jeans, a black tee, and some black Nikes. Tristan and Taylor showed up as I was about to walk out to my car. We were gonna ride together taking my 2019 Camaro. Taylor wasn’t fighting tonight so he would be the driver if need be. Once we arrived I wasted no time looking for Crisa, but I hadn’t seen her and it was my time to fight. When I stepped in the ring I found her front and center with Tyler watching the fights. I was ready to show her what I had in the ring.      I hadn’t been fighting long before a fight broke out in the crowd. I didn’t see Crisa anymore, but I could see Tyler trying to push through the crowd in a hurry. I started searching the crowd until my eyes landed on Crisa to find that she was the one in the fight and there were 3 guys surrounding her. I immediately jumped out of the ring and started pushing my way through the crowd. It felt like forever before I finally broke through the crowd to see that Crisa had one of the guys pinned to the wall while the others were on the ground. Tyler took the guy from her as she was walking away Tyler broke the guy’s arm which if you ask me was him being nice. Crisa must have been tired because she ran right into me and almost fell back from the impact. My arms quickly wrapped around her to keep her from falling and I loved the way she felt pressed against me. I just had to go and  ruin it by saying, “well look who stole the show.”    She responded by stomping on my foot causing me to let go of her while saying, “well somebody had to give them a show.” It all happened so fast before my brain could process what was going on she was half way out the door. She was running and Chris tosses her a set of keys. Once I made it outside I saw her jump on a motorcycle and I ran to my car to chase after her. She was an amazing rider and I was in awe as I watched her cutting these turns faster than most of the guys on my crew would. I was able to keep up with her until we hit the highway and then she opened the accelerator up. Once she did that there was no way I could keep up with her I tried to find her for an hour, but she was gone and I had no idea where she went.       When I finally decided to turn around my phone started ringing and I was going to ignore it, but one look at the name on the screen had me picking up. Before I could even say anything Thane was yelling into the phone asking if Crisa was with me and I told him that I lost her because she was on the motorcycle. He was yelling at people in the background on the verge of freaking out. I asked what was happening and all he said was,”I’ll tell you later we have to find her now.” He hung up without another word and I got on the phone with my guys. I had them get in touch with Chris to start trying to track her. It didn’t take long for Chris to find her sending me an address with a room. He told me not to ask any questions and go straight to the room. I mashed the gas and made it there in 30 minutes. When I knocked on the door I wasn’t prepared for the sight that would greet me.
