They came for him from the shadows. He was well aware, but before he could react, something was slammed in his face. The last thing he remembered was Jess screaming before he finally passed out. His head hurt. That was the first thing Dylan noticed as he recovered. The second thing was more disturbing. It was his surroundings, not the cellar where he had been last night, but a dark, moldy dungeon. He was in a cell. A torchlight passed through the small barred window on the wooden door, which revealed a hard compact dirty floor, a clean chamber toilet in the corner, and there were insects crawling in and out of cracks in the stone walls.
