“I made arrangements with Maylee to have Anja brought today as I wanted to make
sure Blue is seen to first – turns out it was good not to bring her right away. Blue still wasn’t
ready to acknowledge the changes, let alone accept them.
Then Anja, however, ‘brightly’ insisted to come along seeing as she knows Blue so
well, and she would feel so much more comfortable if she gets to know me a bit, and gods
knows what else. I agreed for two reasons. One, I needed to know what Anja’s game is, and
two, I do not care to explain to Maylee and Antoine how I know the kid is playing them for
the fool. She tried to stamp her taste on everything; but I have already seen what Blue wears,
