Drake sighed as the Dagger cleared yet another debris field and moved away from the jump point. It was the fifth jump point in a row which had been the scene of a massive battle, though this time there had been debris on both sides of the jump point.
More worrying was the fact this debris was newer. There seemed to be a running series of battles and the Dagger was getting closer to it with every jump. The other thing worrying Drake was the running battle seemed to be following their course exactly.
“Sonia,” he said. “I want to change course. Take us through these two jump points and then take this path.”
“Aye, Captain,” she said. “Could I ask why?”
