Drake shifted uncomfortably. The entire crew was packed into the mess hall, something which was almost unheard of. A few of them had their data pads slaved to the Dagger’s systems so they could watch for issues, although they had been told to keep their focus on the captain.
Drake had ordered the Dagger onto a new course well away from the jump point while the meeting took place. The last thing he wanted was to run into other ships when he was only part way through his explanations. Once he started he had to finish.
