The journey to the next jump point was only just over half an hour but Drake was so tense it felt like much longer. Despite their efforts no one was able to catch any sign of the stealth ship they were certain was in the area.
Not until they reached the jump point. Just a minute before they jumped Jensen picked up a hint of it going through.
“The sensors caught the stealth ship again, Captain,” he said. “It didn’t seem very large. Maybe similar in size to the Jade Star but I can’t be certain. The stealth might be throwing the sensors off in some way when we do manage to see it.”
