Ethan’s P.O.V In a matter of seconds, I was no longer with Rieka and back to the real world with the witch. Rieka’s body was on the stone bed but she wasn’t awake, she was still asleep with her heart stopped. “Send me back,” I tell the witch but she doesn’t respond her eyes still closed like she was communicating with her powers or with Rieka like she said she could. “Send me back!” I launched toward her but she stopped me and put her arm between us. “If you move me or distract me I will lose my connection with you mate and she’d be in there forever,” she said. “Then pull her out, I don’t want her in there anymore,” “She’s almost there, she’s gotten closer than anyone else has,” “What?” I furrow my eyebrows. “All the other alphas would’ve been dead by now.
