Part 2: Chapter 6: At Dawn
- Reika’s P.O.V - “Things like today would not happen again, Ethan. You said your job was to protect me and the pack. Do it right,” I told Ethan our faces inches away. I saw his eyes staring at my bare neck. He was tempted into doing it so I continued speaking. Soon I felt his breath on my neck and his canines were almost touching my skin. I approached him a little more but I couldn’t feel his sharp teeth anymore. “No,” he said and backed away. I closed my eyes and sighed. “Ethan, what's wrong? I told you that nothing will happen to me, the witch told me everything I need to know,” I explained getting off of his lap. He scratched his neck and remained silent. “It’s kind of ironic that before you wanted us to mate that we fought over it and now you don’t want it at all,” I said.
