*Scars! Everywhere on her skin, she found unfading scars. They covered her skin in black, blue, and violet colour bruises. There was no source of light except for the beam of light creeping inside her room.
She heard eerie footsteps nearing her at a slow pace. Her heart beats caught speed such that it became difficult for her to breathe properly. And then, the footsteps halted and a big shadow occurred from beneath the creak of the door of her room.
It stalled there as if it could see her through the closed door. Lilly sneaked closer to her pillow and grabbed it tightly in her clutch as she sensed the door being kicked hard and someone appeared at the threshold.*
