"Here is your black coffee with diet sugar, mom." I placed mom's coffee on the table while she sat on the couch, reading a fashion magazine.
She didn't look up at me. That hurt but I composed my facial looks and went back to the kitchen to prepare the lunch. Mom barely to never talks to me after her return from the holiday trip.
