Chapter 7 - An Unexpected Encounter

Melanie's POV
He's so close to me, his forhead on mine feels so natural and safe, I want to close my eyes and find his lips with mine, but I know I can't; I can feel his steady heart beat under my hand, he holds me so firmly and yet so gently. He takes his forhead off of mine to lead me in a turn and I follow, hoping he'll put it back, as he puts my hand back on his heart he looks into my eyes and it's like I can see my soul looking back at me, and I loose myself in his eyes.
Erek's POV
The music ends and I reluctantly look away from her crystal blue eyes, leading her to the edge of the floor, I know I'll have to dance with someone else next, but I know I'm going to take her for at least one more dance. A Hustle comes on and I see Melanie go off to dance with Hal, I smile she's so cute. I find another student and take her to the floor for a dance.
Melanie's POV
I hear a waltz start and I see Erek look at me from across the room, then he rushes to me as I rush to him, meeting in the middle of the floor we smile as he offers me his hand.
