Alexander’s Point of View:
“Don’t look at me as if I have grown two heads. Answer me.”, I demand looking into her eyes. But instead of answering me, she continues to stare at me in bewilderment. So, I raise my eyebrow.
“Alex, what is wrong with you? How can you be so rude? We both know the reason.”, she tries to keep her voice as low as possible. She gives me a concerned look before continuing, “Maybe you are tired that’s why you can’t think straight. But don’t worry as soon as we reach our mansion you can rest.” She smiles at me.
A deep frown settles on my forehead hearing her words. ‘Our mansion’ sounds good coming from her mouth but no, it is mine, not ‘our’.
I lean down and touch her face with my fingertips. Looking dead serious in her eyes, I say, “It is my mansion, not ours.”,
