Author’s Point of View:
“Absolutely correct. He deserved it.”, Katrina’s sweet laughter fills the atmosphere inside the car. She giggles as she interacts with the other person over the phone call. Her big doe-like eyes gleam as the other person fills her in with some spicy information. By the end of his sentence, Katrina is laughing, clutching her stomach.
She gets so lost in the conversation that she doesn’t notice when the car comes to a halt and she gets out. Her legs seem to be having their brain, which leads her safely to the main hall of the mansion.
The lights are dim and the atmosphere is heavy. Usually, the servants would be jogging here and there to perform their duty efficiently. But today, not a single servant is seen. Either they don’t have work today or someone won’t app
