A WEEK LATER….
Scarlet had been trying so hard to avoid Damien, it was difficult because they lived in the same mansion, and had breakfast together every morning. However, it was different today, for some reason best known to her, she was happy. She rushed downstairs, taking a seat on the other end of the table to enjoy her breakfast, she had drafted out her plans for today, and she hoped in her heart that she could talk Damien into letting her leave the mansion, at least just this once.
They continued having their breakfast silently, when she noticed Damien's attention was focused more on his meal, she decided to start up a conversation.
“ Can I have a word with you?” she asked calmly, trying her best to be polite in every possible way. She didn't want Damien to change his mind for a
