Chapter-16

(flashback)

"Ok that's final" Ramia was discussing her schedule in her wireless ear bud while driving. Tomorrow is an important day ,she is going to sign the most anticipated and biggest project in her career so far and it will change the world of galaxy. A black car was coming behind her, she makes some way for it to pass by but it stayed behind her, she increased her speed but the car started chasing her and in a brief second the came with high speed and crashed with a side of her car…the window glass broke and the door bend inwardly fortunately the air bag opened and saved her head from cracking but she felt huge pain on her shoulder and her leg struck in the broken door. Her car had already halted few inches away from the middle of the road while she tried to calm herself down from the shock and tried to pull her leg out her phone was lying in front of her leg she tried to call her bodyguard but unfortunately it was also broken due to heavy pressure of metal. Soon four well build man came out from that black car and came towards her car. She quickly locked the car door and pretend to be unconscious. They came near the broken window to check on her.

"Dead or not?" one of the man asked.

"Seems like unconscious boss"

"Pull her out" the man tried to open the unbroken door.

"It's locked"

"Bring something to break it" Two of them went to bring something while the other two waited there and a phone started ringing.

"Yes Boss…not yet it's half done but don't worry we'll definitely bring the good news to you" Ramia can see the clear picture now, It was all planned. She slowly opened the door and came out from the car and the man noticed her.

"You pretentious witch" he charged at her but she fight back while she noticed the other two man also running towards them. She realized that she would not be able fight with all of them with her injuries. She spared the paper spray in both of their eyes and ran towards the forest soon she heard a police siren. The goons also heard the siren and quickly get into the car and drove away. Police were on their regular patrolling they noticed the half broken car and stopped. Ramia was watching them from behind the woods, there is no way she can come out in front of the police it can create issues and she don't want to be on headlines before tomorrow's contract, her broken phone was also lying on the ground beside her. Police started searching around but she hide herself well, soon surrounding got darken and police wrapped up from the scene. One side of her clothe already soaked in blood, she tried to stand up and walk but it felt really painful at that time, She stayed leaning on the wood for some moment to gain some strength but a sound of a footstep make her alerted and she grab a branch of wood. "Excuse me" she turned around and to her surprise it was the man she never expected... it was 'him' .

Tahir stared at her for a moment then left a long sigh and ask her, "Where is your bodyguards?"

"I didn't bring them with me" Ramia started feeling quite nervous looking at his stern face and looked anywhere but him "I don't like people always tailing behind me"

"Yeah of course, You can made enemies all over the country but can't even protect yourself and don't even like people protect you too. How ridicules!" He shouted with anger, for the first time he have seen him like this.

"What does that mean by made enemies!….you are talking as if I myself have asked for enemies"

"Much you go higher much people will try to pull you down be it's alive or dead, don't you know that! And this is a foreign country how could you be so careless"

"I.." She was going to talk back but seeing his concerned face she stayed silent.

"Are you worried for me?" Tahir gazed at her and as if he caught red handed and averted his gaze.

"Why would I?"

"Seems like"

"I'm showing my humanity, well this place is nice…under the stars, in middle of woods...how magical! Are you planning to stay here?"

"This is your humanity, Heartless!" She murmured and tried to step forward but her injured leg didn't help and about to tripped fall but a strong arm gripped her by wrist.

"I know you are stupid no need to prove it again" He said with a stern face before she speak up anything he took off his court and placed it over her shoulder covering the blood soaked cloths and lifted her up in his arms.

“Don’t over think, It’s also a part of my humanity” She stayed silent and stared at him being dumb fold. Fortunately they found a cab on the main road and get into it.

“ Go to hospital” Tahir told the driver

“ No need, go to stairway hotel” Tahir looked at her.

“What does that mean?”

“ I’m staying at that hotel”

“You need treatment first”

“ Bleeding have already stopped I’ll manage”

“ We are going to hospital ”

“ Tomorrow I’ve a very important meeting I don’t want to create any kind of issue now and I’m owner of that hotel there I’ve my people. I’ll definitely manage” Tahir stayed silent and told driver to drive to the hotel. He can’t understand how her can health comes at the least priority. Usually women are fragile but she can endure her pain very well, huh...what is he thinking he already knew a person who have always endured pain in herself and till now she is enduring it... his mother, change of the statement women are not fragile... at least mentally. But why do he care she have said her people are waiting maybe he (Vishal) is also waiting for her after all rumours are not always absolutely fake. He stopped his mind from thinking much. Soon they arrived in front of the hotel.

“What’s this?” Ramia asked in surprise as hundred of media and paparazzi was crowded in front of the hotel. Tahir could have guess what is all this about.

“I think they are waiting for you”

“Why all of a sudden, does something about tomorrow’s contract got leaked?...but that’s impossible it’s very confidential” all the day she was engaged by work and didn’t get time to browsing news so she tried to guess but failed.

“Maybe some of your persona secret is out” Ramia stared at him in confusion

“What personal secret?”

“You can see it by yourself, It’s getting late I have to go now” she didn’t had any strength left to argue so she stay sited silently.

“What! Aren’t you leaving?” He asked her.

“How can I?” She directed at the crowed.

“Ask someone from the hotel to escort you, after all you are the owner”

“ Leave me somewhere nearby, I’m already exhausted” She ignored his advise and closed her eyes leaning on her seat. Tahir left a long sigh and ask the driver to drive to where he (Tahir) was staying.
