Jennie walked straight to her room without even greeting her roommates who were still cleaning their dorm. “Hey, Jen... oh, wow. She just ignored us.” Jisoo said. “And she’s home early today.” Rosé noticed. “Oh no, did she lose her job?” Rosé worriedly said. “Poor Jennie.” Once Jennie reached her room, she shut her door close and leaned against it, breathing heavily. “What is happening to me?” She asked herself. “This is just a dream, right? This is not real.” She said and she pinch herself to prove herself she’s just dreaming. “Ahh!” Jennie cried in pain. “Maybe this is a nightmare then?” Jennie giggled as if she was already losing her mind. “I’m going insane.” She started touching the tips of her hair and stroking it between her fingers while giggling. “Is this the end of my world? Why am I like this? What was that voice that I heard while I was walking going here? Is that how conscience sounds like?” She kept asking. “Miss, please I’m begging you. Help me. I mean no harm, so please stop freaking out.” There was the voice Jennie heard a while ago. “W-who are y-you?” Jennie said with a trembling voice. “Let me introduce myself. I’m Lisa. I’m standing in front of you right now. I don’t really get why you didn’t see me the first time we met but I understand now, I think I’m a ghost but I still can’t believe I am. But please, please help me.” Lisa pleaded. “I’m on my knees if only you could see me. I’m begging you.” “A g-ghost? Ghosts are not r-real, are they?” Jennie said, still trembling in fear. “And of all people, why did you choose me to help you? I don’t want to get involve with your vengeance!” “I’ve been asking for help for hours and no one seems to notice me, only you did. I just need your help to get me home. And I’m not even going to take my vengeance on anyone. I’m not a mad ghost.” Lisa explained. “So please, calm yourself down because I won’t hurt you.” Lisa assured Jennie. “But I have a question. Did you feel me patted your shoulder back there?” She asked and Jennie slowly nodded. “Huh, so you could feel my touch but how come my body could pass through the walls?” Lisa said, perplexed. Since Jennie couldn’t see Lisa, she attempted to touch Jennie’s arm but before she could even do, Jennie spoke. “Don’t ever dare touch me! Please!” Jennie yelped in fright. “You okay back there, Jennie?” Rosé called from outside of her room. “Y-yeah! Don’t mind me! I uh...I’m just practicing my acting skills!” Jennie lied with nervous laugh. “So your name is Jennie?” Lisa asked. “Seems like you’re a deaf ghost too.” Jennie sarcastically said and she formed a cross using her two index fingers. “What are you doing?” Lisa laughed. “I’m protecting myself from you!” Jennie said. “I’m not a poltergeist okay, how many times should I tell you that I’m not going to hurt you?” “How can I even trust someone that I can’t see?!” “I promise and swear to God that I’ll be just in the corner standing and I won’t touch you.” “C-corner?! Ugh, you’re just making me feel more scared!” Jennie complained. Lisa was about to speak when another ghost passed through the wall and Jennie started to sneeze. “Ugh, why is it getting cold again?” Jennie said as she hugged herself to give warmth to her body and then she sneezed again. “Ugh, what the hell is wrong with me?!” Lisa got confused, she looked at the ghost who was around 10 years old she guessed. She was running around Jennie's room and the latter couldn't stop sneezing. “Um, hey kid.” Lisa tried to get the attention of the little girl and she somehow succeeded, the little girl looked at her and walked to her slowly. “Who are you talking to now? Are you calling me a kid?” Jennie asked as she sneezed again. “f**k!” “There’s another ghost here, a little girl. She keeps running around here.” Lisa said to Jennie then she looked at the little girl. “You seem to be causing a disturbance to my friend here. Can you go somewhere else?” Lisa pleaded to the little girl. The little girl stuck her tongue out to annoy Lisa and ran through the wall, Jennie had stopped sneezing. “Ugh, kids.” Lisa groaned. “Mind if I sit on that chair in front of the mirror?” She asked Jennie. “Uh...sure.” Jennie said. “This is so strange. Seconds ago I was sneezing nonstop and it’s freaking cold, now I stopped sneezing and I feel warm again.” Jennie confusedly said. “Seems like that kid is the cause of your sneezing.” Lisa commented. “I’ve been like this for two weeks now but I don’t have time to see a doctor since I’m always busy.” Jennie shared. “I think I owe you one, thanks.” She looked at the chair where Lisa was sitting and smiled. “Wait, you can see me now?!” Lisa surprisingly asked. “No you i***t, you just asked me if you could sit there, didn’t you?” Jennie deadpanned. “Oh, yeah right.” Lisa scratched her head and Jennie sighed and sat on her bed cautiously since the chair where Lisa was sitting was just two feet away from her bed. “So, Lisa right?” Jennie started. “Yeah.” The ghost answered. “So you said you need my help. You want me to get you home, am I right?” “Yes.” “Wait, you’re a ghost. You could pass through the walls, why don’t you just go by yourself?” “That’s the problem. I don’t know how because I can’t remember where I live and I don’t even know how I died.” Lisa sighed. “I can’t remember anything. All I know is my name and the urge of coming back home.” “Then how did you get here?” Jennie asked. “I don’t really know. I woke up on the side of the road, confused about everything.” Lisa answered. “Ugh, how am I going to help you if you don’t know anything?” Jennie groaned. “Um, how about asking anyone about me? Maybe they would know who I am and they could tell you where I live.” Lisa suggested. “But when am I going to start asking about you? I’m a busy person, I don’t have time for that.” Jennie pointed out. “Just start whenever you can. It would be a really great help.” Lisa said. “I will never leave your side until you help me.” “Ah, I know what you’re doing.” Jennie scoffed. “You’re going to scare me so I won’t have any choice but to help you. Ha! Busted!” “I didn’t think of that but thanks for giving me an idea.” Lisa countered back. “Ugh, okay I will help you! Just don’t do anything to me.” Jennie gave in and pleaded. “Thank you so much!” Lisa beamed. “I’m keeping my promise, I won’t touch nor hurt you. I’m just around you.” “You’re still creeping me out.” Jennie groaned. “But this is fate don’t you think? I’m sure we met each other for a reason.” Lisa said. “I’m the unluckiest person on this planet.” Jennie mumbled when she buried her face in her pillow. “We could be friends you know.” Lisa said. “And now a ghost wants to be friends with me. How cool is that?” Jennie sarcastically said. “I mean seriously, isn’t it cool? You have a ghost friend now, you can tell me anything like your secrets that you don’t want anyone to know, vent on me, I’ll be your safe zone. I won’t tell anyone.” “Alright, alright. Friends it is.” Jennie sighed. “My day is just starting but knowing you made me tired already so I’m gonna take a nap. Don’t do anything, but you can leave. Yeah, it’s better if you’ll leave.” Jennie said and lied in her bed to take a nap. “Why would I even leave, you’re the help that I need.” Lisa said. “I’ll keep an eye on that kid so she won’t bother you.” “Quiet will you, I’m trying to sleep.” Jennie said while her eyes were closed.
