I can't believe I’m here seeing one of my friends' sisters in this condition. I wonder if she’s going to fob us off again?

“I know you don't want to get in trouble with your husband, but you need to tell us the truth. We know it’s hard for you to tell us what’s going on. We’re here Mrs Hollingway. I’ve seen a lot in my time as an officer, the doctor says you have ex’s waive injuries. You’re lucky you survived let alone the babies that are growing inside of you.”

“Cam you please keep your voice down I don't want Ethan to know that there are two.”

I looked at her confused just like my partner did. Why didn't she want him to know? She was definitely hiding something.

“I know that you're scared, Mrs Hollingway, but we’re here to help and protect you from your abuser.”

“I’m not being abused.”

“We have evidence that suggests you are. You may not want to talk here with us, but we have a team that deals with all kinds of abuse at the station. No one needs to know you’re there, especially your husband. Think about it.”

“I will.”

Just then the room falls silent and Ethan walks back in. “Officers, why are you here?”

“Jsut a little chat with your wife about her injuries.”

“She fell.”

“I see.”

“You don't believe me? Tell them you fell Carly.”

“I..”

He glared at her with a warning in his eyes, one typical of an abuser I’ve seen plenty in my years at the force.

“Ye…Yeah. I fell.”

I nodded.

“If that's all, my wife need to rest.”

“It is for Mrs Hollingway, but not for you.”

“What are you talking about?”

I nod and my partner gets out the handcuffs.

“What's going on?”

“Mr Hollingway, we are arresting you in connection with the assault on Kaden Kingsley.”

“I already told you I daint do f**k all.”

“We believe you did Mr Hollingway.” I said as my partner placed the cuffs on him. “You have the right to remain silent anything you say may be used against you in a court of law.”

We pulled him away and led him out of the hospital, all the staff and patients looking noisily to see what was going on. Let them fuckin look this bastard shoidl be sent down for more than what he did to kaden he should be sent down for a long time for harming one hair on Carly’s head.

We grew up together, She probably doesn’t remember much about me cause Aiden, Luke and I got sent to a profane school when we were ready to head for high school all our parents thought it was for the best. Yeah, look how that turned out.

I can’t tell Kaden what was happening to his sister the one he looked up to all these years, they were so close until she left for uni no one knew exactly what happened but it had to be bad for neither of them to talk to each other.

We struggled as Ethan tried so hard to get away from us whilst trying to plead his innocence. My partner pushed him into the back of the police car, closing the door. I slid into the driver's seat and started the car.

“I don't know what that prick told you but it’s shit.”

“We have evidence to put you behind bars Mr Hollingway.” And of we find out you abuse your wife cause ing her to almost lose your children and her life you’ll be going to prison for a very long f*****g time. I wanted to say but restrained myself from doing so. I didn't want Carly being too scared to come to us. “You’ll be put into a cell until the court date.”

“You can’t do this to me.”

“But we can Mr Hollingway. So I suggest you get yourself a lawyer.”

Carly

I couldn’t believe they arrested Ethan for assaulting my baby brother. Why the hell would he do that? I know Kaden confessed to the way he felt about me, but so did Aiden and Liam why not target him?

I'm five months pregnant so I have decided to come clean about the s**t that was happening at home before Ethan got arrested. I finally plucked up the courage after all the nightmares and waking up gasping breathless and went to the station and agreed to see someone.

Now they’ve sentenced Ethan to GBH then attempted murder on me and my babies. He’s got a lengthy sentence but it could be short and by good behaviour.

Now that Ethan isn't in the picture I need to see Kaden. There's so much left unsaid. I need to come clean about everything I need to contact Jonathan and Kyler as well, they have a right to know why I left them even if it’s too late for their forgiveness at least they know the truth, the truth that I’ve kept hidden for so long.

I was so nervous when I contacted kaden I was sure that he was going to tell me to go to hell. I was more surprised when he agreed to meet me just like Jonathan and Kyler. I guess they thought that it was about time I gave them answers.

Kaden

Damon had let me know that they had arrested it was about time it had been a f*****g month since I was in that intergaton room and told Damon That I wanted to press charges. I had no clue what he was f*****g waiting for, more evidence?

When the call came to say I was overjoyed was an understatement. I was f*****g estatic. I was more ecstatic when Carly called.psnd said that we needed to talk. I told her that I would be there in thirty but it was more like fifteen, maybe twenty. I broke the speed limit just to get there. I hadn't seen much of Jonathan and Kyler. They had been so full of f*****g excused this last month I had given up all hope with either of them.

I had met with Carly at our secret place she looked different, sure she was pregnant but she looked a shell of herself what the f**k had that asshole prick Hollingway way done to her? If he’s hurt my sister, I’ll f*****g kill him myself.

What I didn’t know was that she had invited Jonahtan and Kyler there. I guess that she had a lot of apologising to do. I couldn’t get over the fact she let him touch her let alone get knocked up by him.

It was weird seeing her again pregnant, looking so fragile. It was even weirder seeing Jonahtan and Kyler but I wasn't going to let them off the hook that easily. They were going to have to earn what they had before back.

She had bruises on her face that were fading but pissed me off none the least. We all talked and she admitted that she had moved out of the home that they lived in together.

I texted her after that day telling her I wanted to know the truth, the one she hid when Jonahtan and Kyler turned up.

We sat down and talked for a long time. She had chosen not to press charges against him and he was going to be inside for long enough and he would never see his children ever. He wouldn’t be allowed to go anywhere near Carly and their children unless they wanted to see him.
