A Thorn In My Heart

After the party the other person went home with her, madam Annie wasn’t in the whole mansion was pitch black. Even the lights outside weren’t on, he turned on the lights and glanced at the empty living room, he carried her in his arms to the second floor, pushed open the bedroom door, and glanced over at the wall. There were multi-colored balloons stacked to form words ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ in that instant, he froze at the door. Up till now he still clearly remembered how he felt whilst, he spent all afternoon decorating the room, but he felt a thorn in his heart, when he didn’t get any reply from her, what breaks his heart was she not putting on the dress he specially made for her, on this special day, even though she forgot it her birthday, she shouldn’t have sacrificed it for Ray and Duncan company party.

He stood blankly at the door for a long time, before he entered the bedroom. He looked all round at the balloons stuck on the four walls.

In the end, his eyes stopped at the balcony where he had arranged the candles into words, and then as though his whole body had lost its energy, he turned slowly and looked at the girl on the king size bed. He hugged his knees and put his head in-between them.

Even though he is stupid, he should have let go of her, since ever when she left him, he felt so empty without her.

The more DMC, thought about it, the more he felt wronged in the end, his shoulders started to tremble slightly and sobs gently broke out.

After a long time, DMC lifted his head from between his knees. The tears on his face had dried up, and the rims of his eyes were red.

As he had crunched for quite some time, when he stood up his legs were numb. He glanced at the time on the wall it was already quarter past twelve; her birthday had passed.

He stood in dazed then lowered his eyes and walked out of the room. In the shower he took a cold bath the water splashing on his bare back, after he was done, he made a warm tub and carried her gently, to bath, using a wiper he gently wiped off her makeup, after he was done he dressed her in a beautiful pink night gown.
