“W-what-” I cut myself off shuttering as I jumped to my feet and took a few steps away from him watching as he jumped to his feet also. My heart had slowly started drumming itself to life, my skin heating up but there was something else too. Something cold and slippery that wrapped itself around my throat and reminded my brain to feel some kind of anger.
