I had been driving all day. The sun was starting to go down and I was still about eighty miles from the nearest town. I had left the hotel and went north. I drove through all of eastern Idaho and had crossed the border into Montana. I had no maps, no idea where I was going, I just went where it felt right going. Nat had been quiet most of the day, which left me to my own thoughts. That wasn't really a good thing though. I had to stop myself more than once from crying. I finally cranked up the radio and had my own one man concert while I drove. Music was good for my soul and it definitely helped me to stay out of my thoughts.
