Chapter Three A wave of dizziness washed over Edge, threatening to send him back to the floor. Once again, sweat coated his skin, and he could feel the legs of insects crawling across his body. Nausea churned in his stomach. He kept his head up and focused on the other side of the narrow cell. It was three steps. He could make three steps. His lips parted and he licked them. Step, he commanded his body. Move your leg. His body refused to follow his mental command. The sweat began to form rivulets trickling down from his temple and between his shoulders.
