Zara POV,
I swallowed the lump in my throat as Alpha Silas stepped towards me, his eyes fixed on the dustbin.
I literally looked like I had seen a ghost, because I didn’t expect to see him walk in just when Alpha Lir made his offer obvious to me.
“Alpha Silas.” I muttered calmly, “I didn’t realize you were done with the trade discussion.”
He nodded slightly but with hesitation and I could tell he was more fixated on figuring out whatever it is that I had discussed with Alpha Lir.
“Alpha Lir isn’t exactly a patient man.” Alpha Silas said walking straight to the bin and fishing out the check book with two fingers. “I can see he clearly made you an offer.”
