Zara Fen POV The heavy gold elevator panels slide shut with a soft hiss, sealing us inside the mirrored box. The hum of the engine kicks in, pulling us upward, but my lungs refuse to work. My heart is a frantic hammer knocking against my ribs. He knows. He knows. He knows. The words repeat in my head like a death sentence. "Zara." Silas’s voice breaks through the roaring in my ears.
