Chapter Two -Power

-Theo POV-         As I watch Evan and Bryson throw the football around I realize in 3 days I will become the leader of the Ravens Wood Pack. I never wanted to be a Alpha I wanted to travel the world and only care for myself. But after my 22nd birthday i realized that I needed a pack to keep me grounded... My father was more than thrilled when I returned home and told him that i would take over the pack. Evan would be my beta just as his father is to mine. and Bryson as the gamma like his father. My mother Abigail was happy for my return but was more concerned about grandbabies soon. I haven't found my mate yet but I think its soon my wolf has started to stir and i am having weird dreams of green hills. 

 -Penelope POV-          As I washed the dishes from the dinner before i practice my speech and what I'm going to say as i leave this awful place. I hear Rosie approaching. Hello Rosie did you not get enough to eat at dinner i can heat you up some leftovers. I look up to see if she is alone which she is so I look directly in her face because she is the only one that treats me like I am alive. "Oh no I had enough to eat thank you so much Penny." She says with a smile on her face. " But I do have a question for you and a favor to ask of you." She says turning red. " Sure ask me anything and if I can help you know  I will." I say stepping closer to hear her. " I know you are leaving on your Birthday in 3 days and I was wondering if I could come with you. I hate having to deal with my mother and stupid sister and You are my best friend . " She says as her hands begin to tremble due to her nerves. I am more shocked than anything that she would want to leave the comfort of her pack to be a loner with me and also that she called me her Best friend. " Of course you can come with me Rosie. I would love to have you with me but is your mother and father going to let you?" I ask hoping that she has thought this through. " Well seeing how I am older than you I don't think they can stop me lol "  Then it is settled we will leave bright and early on Saturday morning I tell her as I turn around to finish the dishes. 

-Rosie POV-

As Penny stood there speechless with her mouth open, I didn't know if she had heard me or if she was shocked that I actually wanted to leave with her. I was so nervous to ask her because I did not know if she would lump me in with my evil family or if she even saw me as a friend like I did of her. But once I heard her say that she would be happy for me to join. I had to keep myself and my wolf together before we brought attention to ourselves. I wanted until dinner was over to sneak off to find Penny and ask her. Little did she know that my life has been hell here as well. I may have been born in this pack but all the power belonged to everyone but me . It was my time and I was going to take it. Penny told me that we would be leaving early Saturday morning  so I told her thank you and if I could hug her I would.
