A crown between us

HIS DILEMMA

In the kingdom of Valthera, The Royal palace stood at the heart of the capital, the kingdom has been existing for generations, it is known for its immense wealth, military strength and pride, Valthera was one of the most feared and powerful Kingdom of the four countries and the Royal family was highly respected and almost worshipped by everyone within its borders and outside it's borders.

Within the prestigious walls of the Royal palace lived a Man who had been promised a princess even before he came into existence, a princess he has never met.

Prince Soren stood by the tall windows of his study staring down at the capital below.

At 23 he has already grown accustomed to the weight of responsibilities that came with his name. As the first son of King Eren, there were lots of expectations attached to every decisions he made, every word, every breathe and every appearance he made before the kingdom.

But there was one expectation he never imagined would become his reality.

Marriage.

"You cannot really be serious"

Soren turned away from the window as his father entered the room making the personal aid that was in the room take a bow and excused them.

"I am completely serious". The king replied.

Soren stared at his father for a moment he was speechless, he was waiting for the joke that never came

"How can you expect me to marry someone I have never met?". He asked finally after what felt like forever he ran his hand through his dark hair his expression tightened he still couldn't believe what his father was saying

"She is the only daughter of King Aaron of Aurelia"

King Eren said making his way to the door leaving his son to his thoughts.

"What do I do with that information"

He asked watching his father leave

"This is everything I could compile"

Soren's Aide said giving him a brown envelope which Soren opened and was reading the content

"She has a boyfriend?"

He said in suprise

"She went to Oxlane university your Royal Highness"

The aide said trying to give a reason as to how she has the boyfriend

"I saw that" soren stated he was thinking.

Thinking of how to escape this marriage

But how could he possible do it

He was the crown prince, he had responsibilities and this happens to be the biggest of them all.
