The night carried on and Meridian and Aiden kept their distance from one another for the most part, just sharing glances and smiles at each other from across the room. As the evening was wrapping up, a lot of the kids who showed up at the party for free alcohol were on their way to being too drunk to drive and most opted out to stay there at Eric’s house.
