The room was full of kids watching tv, playing pool, shuffleboard and darts. Meridian’s eyes surveyed the room looking for Aiden, and she spotted him over at the pool table talking to Chris and some other guys. She let Eric show her around the room and introduce her to his friends. As they stood chatting, Aiden took notice that Meridian was there and wasted no time to get over to her.
“Meridian, how are you? Do you have a second? I thought we could go talk a little.” Aiden’s beaming smile returned.
