Living with my over protective uncle

261 Words
After my WAEC in 2014, I had to live with my uncle and his family in Lagos, I had always wanted to live in the city since my childhood, little did I know that living in the city comes with a great challenge, I went through a lot and almost made some mistakes as a teenager, all thanks to my over protective uncle. when I got to Lagos I made friends with some other teenagers like me, two in church and one at home, the names of my friends in church are Lolade and Gbemisola, both of them are big girls even as a teenager, their parents are financially okay, and the clothes they were to church every sunday is wow! one of the challenges I had then was the fact that I wasn't contended, I started seeing my friends as being more superior than me. But I learnt how to combine my wears from them, because I was this local champion, I had to travel back to Ekiti to sit for WAEC the second time mind you, I wrote GCE that same year 2014 in Lagos but I had F9 in like 5-6 subject it was nothing to write home about, although I had to do it in a miracle centre and we all know how this centres work its a either a complete pass or a complete failure I was heart broken, I cried my eyes out. PS: the story continues the next episode is on the impact of social media and my experience living with my aunty.
