AMANDA'S POV
My eyes flickered open the moment my phone began ringing and the vibration became louder.
I pushed the covers off my legs and checked the phone. I rubbed my eyes just before picking Aldo's call.
"Yeah?" I dragged as a yawn followed and I tried hard to say something.
"Amanda," he called and just then the sleep that was left in my eyes vanished and I quickly turned to coach a glimpse of the wall clock. It was 12pm.
"Oh s**t!!" I mouthed.
"Are you no longer coming?" His voice asked from his end and I quickly sprawled up.
"Uh— oh s**t. I am. I mean, yes." I paused to try to compose myself before I continued. "I'm really very sorry for being late and I'll just hasten up and be there already."
