Aldo's POV The cloudy skies and my sore legs are the only indication of how long this drive had been. Left to me, I wasn't ready to be anywhere near that house or that man. It was evening by the time we arrived, I could see the white tall mansion just down the road. Slowly, the pathway that led to the gates became evident and I began to dread every moment the wheels turned taking us nearer to what I could call doom. The gates opened in a second as though I was right on time and I knew it was no doubt mother's doing. The guards at the gate stood in salute as the car sped past and I wished I really hadn't come.
