56: The second visit

I opened my eyes as a yawn escaped my mouth. A sharp pain followed and I squinted my eyes, trying to figure out why I woke up this tired. It then dawned on me that I had slept off in my car and I was in Amanda's garage. I gritted my teeth and shut my eyes just before using my hands to trace my hair. When I looked around, I found the keys in the passengers seat and immediately strutted it in. I turned on the ignition, slammed my foot on the accelerator and drove away without hesitation. I really couldn't stay there any minute longer and no, I didn't see the need to check on Amanda to see how she's doing. My mind was clouded with different thoughts but I just needed to get home, take a cup of coffee and see what I can do for today. The road was free from traffic which was surprising b
