The drive back to Amanda's place wasn’t exactly excruciating but neither was it comfortable. Relief warred with my nerves to know that she was fine and that was just a stunt pulled by Zhara. I couldn't really imagine hat would have happened if I had gotten there and something was actually wrong with Zhara. Just the thoughts of it was making feel nauseated so I stooped thinking of it and just focused on the present. The car came to a halt and I paused there before taking off my seat belt. I looked around before grabbing my phone from the passenger seat. I climbed out of my car and slammed the door behind me. I looked around the building before walking inside.
