Chapter 4

On the day of the wedding, the weather was surprisingly beautiful. Aria was already wearing the dress I had ordered for my wedding. When she saw me enter the dressing room, she did a twirl. "Nova, do I look good?" I smiled faintly and sat down to do my makeup. "You look great. It really suits you." Asher sat beside me, smirking. "My fiancée is not only generous but also kind. I'm truly lucky to be marrying you." Aria touched up her lip gloss, chiming in with a saccharine, faux‑innocent tone. "Asher is not only gentle but also knows how to give compliments. Such a good man—you'd better cherish him from now on, Nova, you hear?" I looked at their faces in the mirror, each with a hidden agenda, and sneered inwardly. "You two should head out now. I need to change into my wedding dress." Asher squeezed my shoulder, his smile as beautiful as when we first met. "My beautiful fiancée, do you really have the heart to let me leave?" I smiled. "Alright, hurry up and go greet the guests." "Yeah, the wedding's about to start, so stop bothering Nova." After they left, laughing and chatting, I took out my phone and sent a text to the wedding's video operator. Nova: Play the video according to plan. Then I left through the back door and headed to the airport. At exactly twelve o'clock, I sat in the first‑class lounge at the airport, perfectly composed, and opened our wedding livestream on my phone. At the wedding venue, the emcee held a microphone and called out with gusto, "Now, please welcome our most beautiful bride!" Under the gaze of everyone present, two heavy doors were slowly pushed open by the children at the wedding party. A dazzling white spotlight zeroed in on the entrance. However, beneath the beam, there was no one. "Please welcome the bride." No one answered. "What's going on? Doesn't Nova love that boy from the Chandler family? Why is she late for the wedding?" "No idea. No one's seen her since the wedding started." The emcee wiped the sweat from his forehead and asked in a low voice, "Where did the bride go? We're going to run out of time." Asher frowned as he checked his watch. Hearing Aria flirting with the groomsmen, he turned and demanded, "What are you standing around for? Go find her!" Aria pursed her lips, "She's the one who didn't show up. Why are you blaming us?" Asher barely contained his anger and told the emcee, "Play the video, play it first!" The emcee quickly took the cue and announced, "Before we welcome our beautiful bride, please join us, distinguished guests, in watching a sweet video celebrating the seven‑year love story of Mr. Asher Chandler and Ms. Nova Sterling!" Thunderous applause erupted from the audience. In that instant, hundreds of guests turned their expectant gazes toward the massive LED screen at the center of the stage. A second later, the screen blazed to life. On the huge screen, Asher had Aria pressed hard against the window. Her clothes had already been pulled down more than halfway, exposing her fair, rounded breasts. Suddenly, Aria's soft, coquettish moan came over the speakers. "Easy... What if Nova hears?"
