PRIVATE CONVERSATION (DOMINIC)

I look as Courtney’s dad leaves my office and I start walking towards my chair behind my desk. I look at Courtney and say “come over here love. We need to talk.” Courtney looks at him scared but starts walking towards Dom. When she got close Dom pulled her close to his and sat her on his lap at first, she was startled but after a while she settled. He sighed and said, “Don’t be scared love I’m not mad at you I promise.” She looks at him and stare at his eyes and say, “I’m not scared just nervous Dom I trust you.” I smile and look down at my mate and give her kiss on the forehead Courtney looks up at me surprised. I was looking at Courtney and said “would you mind telling me everything you know about your husband and the vampires. I need to make sure that he wasn’t part of what happened to my parents.” I looked at Courtney and she said, “What do you mean weren’t you their when I was talking to Ed earlier.” I looked at her and said, “no unfortunately my sister and her husband had to bring me inside the packhouse to calm down after that asshole mentioned my parents, I lost it.”

           Courtney looks at me and said “I do have to tell you some stuff but, I believe that your sister and my dad should be present. There are a lot of things that I heard when I was a captive at Ed’s that I think you should hear. A lot of it is very disturbing but, I am willing to tell you all about it.” I looked at her and nodded I gave her a tight hug and then I mind linked my sister and Courtneys dad Tim. There was a knock on my door and my sister walks in but when she sees Courtney on my lap, she has a face of shock she is looking from me to Courtney then she shrieks. “OH MY GOD!!! ARE YOU GUYS MATES PLEASE TELL ME YOU GUYS ARE MATES.” Dominic looks at her and says “Yes we are mates we just found out so stop trying to pop our ears please and calm down. We need to talk about the attack that happened when mom and dad were killed Courtney has some information on what happened.” Samantha looked at me and nods, sighs, and says, “I know she told me when she came back a few months ago she was looking for you to tell you everything which is why I asked you to come home.” I looked at my sister and said, “oh ok that makes as to why you asked me to come back but why didn’t you tell me it involved our mom and dad.”

           Samantha looked at Courtney and she sighed, and Courtney said “I told her not to because I didn’t know if you had a lead that you were following or not. I know a lot of things Dom a lot including about your uncle.” Dom’s eyes go wide but Samantha looks really confused. Courtney turns to Sam and tells her “I didn’t tell you everything for a reason Samantha I’m sorry.” Samantha looks at her and says, “I understand but, I want to know everything that happened.” Courtney looked at her and nodded. The door opens and Tim comes in and says “Sorry I’m late my granddaughter didn’t want to let me leave. I had to have my wife distract her with some cookies and a movie.” I looked at Tim his face was full of happiness being a grandfather suites him. He looks immensely proud of his granddaughter already. WE all turn to Courtney waiting on her to start telling us what she knows about what happened that day my pack was attacked.
