SUHANI'S FATHER ( SF ) : ( calling Suhani's name ) Beta can you come here we need to talk about something with you ...

Suhani nodded and went towards the couch where both of her parents were sitting ...

Suhani sat down on the couch ...

SF : ( holding Suhani's hands ) Beta you have all faith on us right ... ( giving a look towards his wife ) like whatever decisions we will take on behalf of you it will be good ... ?

SUHANI ( looking confused ) : Yes dad I have all faith on both of you ... I know whatever you will do for me or whatever decision you will take on behalf of me it will be for my good only ... But why are you asking like that to me ... ?

SF : ( sighing ) Because you never met with the boy and you never asked anything about him ... ( clearing his throat ) so that is why I am asking ...

SUHANI ( interrupting her father ) : Dad I never questioned because I trust you both very much ... I know that you both will not take any wrong decision which will cause any type of harm to me ...

SF ( taking deep breath ) : I want to talk to you about the groom to whom you are getting married ... ( glancing at his wife ) actually he had some incident which happened with him one year back for which he was disturbed and he went to abroad for an year ...

SUHANI ( not understanding anything ) : What do you mean by it dad ... ?

SF : He used to love someone and they were going to get married in a few days but ... ( taking a deep sigh ) on the day of the marriage the girl to fulfill her dreams to be a model and as she got an offer from Mumbai she flew from her own marriage ...

Suhani was stunned to hear that ...

SF : ( holding her hands ) They told everything before talking about the marriage and they asked for your hand because they know you very well and his father is very good friend of mine so ... ( taking a pause ) he is a very good guy I know ... we know him from very long time ... it's just the circumstance that did put him in this situation ... you may not remember him because you both were very small when you last met ... so now that you know everything are you still happy with this marriage or ... ( looking towards his wife ) we don't want to pressurize you for anything if you want to then you can say no ... you can change your decision ...

Suhani was silent for sometime and she was looking down because she was speechless she was not able to say anything ... she had no words what to say ...

The mouth remains speechless; the spirit is here. It touches all blocks in my head; makes me free. My heart becomes open; the sweetest thing is I always felt I have had this inner bliss.
