Robin now sat alert, no longer bouncing his foot the way he had earlier, when Uŋȟčéǧila was merely fog. Instead, he rested his chin upon the palm of his hand, with his elbow on his loosely crossed knee. She could tell by his expression that he had absolutely no fear and wondered, not for the first time, just how powerful Evelyn and Robin must be to be able to sit stoically in the face of a demon as though they were watching TV. Well, Robin, anyway. Evelyn was still focused on everyone else. Emma Jane looked back at Uŋȟčéǧila, who appeared not to notice the powerful beings beside her.
