This is not my bed, was the first thing Alex thought when he woke up with a pounding headache.  This is not my room, he thought as he took in his surroundings. This is not my house, he concluded. Good catching on, his inner conscious said. Groaning, he pushed the blanket off him and sat up straight. Sighing, he got off the bed and out of the room. As he walked downstairs, holding his head, he could smell the sizzling pancakes. He followed the smell and was shocked to see Alisha behind the counter in his shirt from last night and shorts, looking sexy as hell. What the f**k? "Hey, sugar." She smiled, as she saw him enter. His eyes widened. There was something wrong. She seemed happy to see him, which was not normal. "Why are you wearing my shirt?" She pouted. "Don't you remember?" "Remember what...exactly?" He said cautiously. "Us? You got drunk and I got you to my place and then we just got lost in the moment and did it." She blushed. "No, no, no, no!" He shook his head. "This can't be happening! I couldn't have lost my f*****g virginity when I was f*****g drunk!" "Wait what?" She asked, shocked. "What!?" He screamed back. "You're a virgin!?" Her face became comical as she contained her laughter. "Yeah!" He exclaimed, panic in his eyes. She couldn't help it, she burst out laughing. He looked at her like she had grown two heads as she continued laughing. "Why are you laughing?" He interrupted her. "I'm sorry." She gasped. "I just never took you as a virgin." "Why?" He asked curiously. "I don't know....I just thought you would've done it by now, seeing your image and all." She confessed. He shrugged. "I get it. But getting back to the topic! I can't believe you took advantage of me!" "I can't believe you fell for my joke." She snorted. "Wait what?" Now it was his turn. "Are you stupid? You really thought that I would've slept with you in that state? Or any state, for that matter. Seriously?" She rolled her eyes making him sigh. "That's not funny, you know." He stated, sitting on a stool. "It's hilarious." She smiled. "Pancakes?" "Sure." He accepted. She served him pancakes with a mug full of black coffee. "For your hangover." She said. "Your head must be hurting." "More like pounding. It normally doesn't hurt this bad." He mused. She bit her lip sheepishly, looking sexy. "That might be my fault. You see...I got off the bike and forgot to support you and you sort of fell on the pavement." "Seriously?" He stopped chewing. "Seriously." She nodded. "Wow. Anything else happened?" He inquired. She told him everything but left out the kissing part and what he said before sleeping part. "I didn't know you could ride a bike." He gave a half smile. "My friend, Neil, taught me last year." She said. He nodded and they settled into a comfortable silence as they ate. "These pancakes suck, by the way." She threw a napkin at him. "Be thankful you're getting food and that my parents aren't here." "Yeah, actually. Where are they? And how come I'm an alive man till now? Shirtless, but alive." He joked. Smirking, she replied. "My mom came at 4 a.m from her shift and left again at 8 and my dad's out of town. So, you're lucky." "I would be if I had gotten lucky last night." He winked. "You did." She nodded seriously. "As lucky as a dog can get." Then it was him throwing the napkin at her. ~ After breakfast, a shirtless Alex left her house, only to be questioned and earn a good scolding in Spanish from his mother as soon as he stepped into his house. Alisha took a shower and headed towards Christina's house as they had a plan of meeting up which they fixed an hour back since it was a Saturday and they had nothing to do. "What's happenin', bitches?" She entered Christina's room, trying to get the American accent correct. "Don't ever do that again." Christina warned, turning in her rolling chair. She was in her pyjamas and her hair was in a messy bun. Mira wasn't there yet. "Sorry." She chuckled and plonked on Christina's bed. "How's the hangover?" She groaned. "Don't ask. Head is killing me." Alisha smirked. "Now you know why they say not to get wasted." "Shut up." Christina huffed. "Anyway, what happened with you last night?" Alisha inquired. But before she could answer, Mira burst into the room, in pyjamas and a messy pony. "Could've changed, you know?" Christina said. Mira ignored the comment and plonked on the bed beside Alisha, groaning. "That bad, huh?" Alisha asked. "What?" Mira looked up, confused. "The hangover?" "Oh, yeah!" She nodded. "Anyway, what were you saying?" Alisha asked Christina. "Well, Joey just dropped me back last night but not before I made him buy me ice cream and corn dog." She admitted. "That's an....odd combination." Alisha mused. "I know but at least I didn't land up puking all over the guy." She shrugged. "I slept with Colt last night." Mira suddenly screamed. "What!?" Both of them snapped their heads towards Mira in sync. "I just had to say it." She sat up in the bed. "How did this happen?" Christina asked, moving over to the bed. Now all of them sat in a circle. "So basically, after Joey took you home, Alisha went off to the washroom and I went to go get a drink. I bumped into Colt and we started dancing and doing shots and before you know, we both were drunk but not drunk enough. So, before we both got hammered, Colt decides to drop me off at my place and he takes me into my room and suddenly we were kissing and the next thing I know, our clothes are flying in the air and we're doing it like monkeys on roofies." She explained. "Then what happened?" Alisha asked. "So I wake up next morning to find a naked Colt beside me and I freak out. Mom and dad weren't home and so I calmed down a bit but then thinking about the fact that I slept with my best friend, I freaked out more. He got up and it was the most awkward morning ever where we didn't talk about what happened last night and he left and I ran and came here." She finished. "Now what?" Christina asked. "What?" Mira asked back. "Are you guys going to talk about it? Do you like him? What!?" Alisha asked. "I don't know! I don't know if he wants to be in a relationship or even if he likes me." She sighed. "What about you?" Christina asked. "I don't know...I mean last night was phenomenal. Like amazing and it was just so passionate that I can't help but keep thinking about it and him and everything!" She growled in frustration. Alisha smirked. "You so like him." "Totally. I think you should talk to him about this." Christina suggested. "What if he says no?" Mira sighed. "Why would he?" Alisha's eyebrows furrowed. "Have you seen yourself, Mira? He would be lucky to score with such a hot babe like you." Christina explained making Mira laugh. "I know! The guy would be on cloud nine!" Alisha cheered. "You really think so?" Her eyebrows furrowed. "Totally!" They said in sync. ~ "Dude! How could you!?" Joey whined at Colt. The three of them were hanging out at Joey's place, talking about last night, as Alex and Joey played COD. "I don't know, man. We were sloshed and we just did it." Colt shrugged. "So now what do you plan to do?" Alex asked. "I don't know...avoid her?" Colt mused. Joey smacked him on the head. "Are you stupid? This is not some random chick. This is Mira! Our Mira! The Mira that we have known since middle school. The Mira that is-" "Stop with the Our Mira, Joey!" Colt cut him off. "Dude, you into her?" Alex asked as he and Joey continued to play COD. "I guess....." He trailed off. "You guess? Man, you don't guess. You're either in or out." Joey snorted. Colt thought for a minute. "In. Definitely in." "Then go for it, man." Alex said as he killed ten more people. "Yeah, get some balls and ask her out." Joey agreed, focused on the screen. "Okay, then. I'll do it on Monday." Colt shrugged. "Now pass the chips." Joey said to Colt as his character died and they were starting another game. ~ "He fell for your prank!?" Christina laughed as Alisha told them what happened with her last night. "I'm telling you," she said, munching on popcorn. "He totally freaked out and panicked at how he lost his virginity while he was drunk." Mira and Christina couldn't stop laughing. "But did you guys know that he was a virgin?" Alisha rolled in the chair. "Yeah." Mira nodded. "He's had relationships and made out and all but never got further than the first base." "It doesn't suit his image, that's why he doesn't tell anyone." Christina explained. "Dork." "I think it's....sweet." Alisha smiled. "Someone's got a crush." Christina snorted. "Like that's news." Mira snortedwith a bored look. "Shut up." Alisha scoffed, smiling. ~ "So I wake up in her bed and go down to see her in my shirt, cooking breakfast. And all of a sudden she tells me that we slept together last night." Alex continued his story, while Colt and Joey played COD. "Did you fall for it?" Joey smirked. "Nah! I played along and then she freaked out and confessed to everything." He smirked slyly. "Nice!" Colt high-fived him. "He so fell for it." Joey whispered to Colt making Colt chuckle. "You into her, bro?" Joey asked after a few moments. "Kind of....maybe."Alex shrugged. "He's so into her." Colt whispered to Joey making him smile like a little kid. "Now pass the slice of pizza." Joey said to Alex after his character died and they were starting a new game. ~ "How was your day?" Alex asked Alisha as they sat up on the ledge at twelve in the night, sharing Alex's mom's handmade pizza. "Fun." Alisha nodded, grabbing the pizza crust that Alex left. Alex always ate the pizza and Alisha always finished his crusts. That's how they always ate. "Did you hear about Colt and Mira?" "Yup!" Alex chuckled. "Didn't see that one coming." "Definitely not." She shook her head. "So....what's Colt planning to do about it?" He sighed. "I'll tell you but you can't tell anyone." "Fine." She agreed. "He's gonna ask her out on Monday." Alex smirked. "Really!?" Her eyes widened. "So he's into her?" "No, he's just asking her because he thinks of her as a sister." He gave a bored look. "What do you think?" "Shut up." She shoved him with her elbow. "He could be asking her out just because he thinks it's the right thing to do, not because he likes her or anything." "No, he's definitely asking her out because he's into her." Alex smirked. "That's nice..." Alisha smiled. She was happy for Mira. "What about you?" He suddenly asked. "What about me?" She asked back, confused. "Do you like anyone?" He asked hesitantly, scared to hear the answer. "I like lots of people." She shrugged. "No, dumbshit." He sighed. "I mean attraction type of like." "Ohhh." She dragged innocently, smiling. "I don't know....I think Joey's pretty cute." He slouched. "Oh, yeah, that's nice." "Mmhmm...." She smirked. He looked at her smiling like a devil and caught onto what she was doing. "You know, I think Christina's pretty hot too." He shrugged slyly. She didn't fall for it. "Yeah....but ask her out and you would land up like roasted beef the next day." She gave a cocky smirk. He looked at her and nodded, uncomfortable at the thought of him being roasted. "Forgot about that." "Can I ask you something?" He broke the silence. "Sure." "You like India more or Ortown more?" "Well...." She trailed off. "I like India because it's India, you know? It's where I've been my whole life. It's made me who I am today. But, I like Ortown because of you...and the gang. So, I can't really choose." "So if given a choice, would you move back?" She thought about it for a moment, while she looked at him, then answered truthfully. "Never." His grin could light up the entire street. ---------------------
