JOSIE
The first two weeks of the new year have gone by so fast. Working, having dinner with Sanne, spending time together, it’s all gone so fast that it makes my head spin sometimes. Just remembering that she’s here with me now. It’s such a heady feeling. It’s such an amazing feeling, a rush.
I turn the lights in my office off behind me. It’s Friday evening and I’m going to pick Sanne up to go to a party at Kara’s place. Kara did apply for the teaching job on the island and this week she was asked to come in for an interview and everything. She thought it went pretty well, even though she didn’t really know if ‘pretty well’ was good enough to get the job. But it’s still a cause for celebration.
