It was a fine night in Nagosia forest. No wind blew, no rain fell, and the trees were still as if they’d just stepped out of another photograph. Only a few leaves drifted lazily through the air, and a chorus of crickets could be heard from all over.
Zeta Eli was happy because of the association with Strigoi. He had found himself at peace with the world again. He was walking quietly when suddenly he heard the sounds of footsteps.
