Then he said something about bad paint mediums and the foul smell that reached their studio even if no one was painting inside.
Eventually, after a long series of rants, I was able to ask him about Vi. Apparently, they've only talked a few times, so thanks to me, he finally had a reason to approach her. That was when I started begging him not to tell her about me. Jae could be pushy and hardheaded most of the time, but he's good with people. Put him in a room full of strangers and he would make friends in half an hour.
