Having more than eight hours of sleep is one f*****g delight. My whole body feels refreshed, light and relaxed. More importantly, my brain has stopped its irrational chatter. I would have loved a longer rest, but this nuance of a person won't quit ringing me. For the past hour, my phone has been blaring every five minutes. I muted it seven rings earlier and now it's vibrating hysterically. "What the heck is your problem?" I yell on the cellphone. A chuckle comes from the other line. "Hey, you're awake," he says softly. "I'm not!" I say then hang up. The device flies somewhere on the bed while I flip to my stomach. Five more years, please. I'm on the brink of a snore when the phone goes off again. I let it be until the vibrating is gone but it buzzes before I can breathe. Refreshed,
